I'm not sure if the Blu-ray is the same, but the DVD of Regeneration came with a box rather than a slip (removable from one side), the DVD of Damnation has a slip (removable top and bottom).

I received my copy Monday and watched it that night, if you like the games then it's a good follow on and during the end credits a trailer for RE6 is played so I am guessing this film is meant to be set just before the events of the game.

Slipcover is nice and glossy too.

Just ordered this from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. It costs just 3 pounds for a brand new copy nowadays. Bargain.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, that trailer for VENDETTA looked great. I had DEGENERATION DVD on my shelf for years never having mustered up the enthusiasm to watch it. I loved the games since PS1 days and I've enjoyed at least the first four movies but I figured it would be a bore to watch what I expected to be a long game cut-scene. Dug it out tonight and really enjoyed it so I guess I'll have to get DAMNATION and ultimately VENDETTA. Thinking I'll settle for a 50pence copy of DAMNATION from CEX until a 3-disc Blu box gets released.

Unfortunately the Japanese import will set you back quite a large amount of cash and I don't think this movie is worth that, so I just went with the 2D version.

I think you are right about not worth paying that much for it, crazy how much they want. I guess i will keep a eye on it to see if it ever goes down some.

Just watched this. Whilst it does look and sound superior to the 2008 film, I must admit that I enjoyed Degeneration much more than Damnation. Thought Degeneration was far more entertaining. Still...not bad, paying 3 pounds for a brand new copy.
