Default 1966 CBS Playhouse of "The Glass Menagerie"

I saw this on my Facebook timeline and I thought it might be of some interest for all you TV movie buffs. Thanks to Dan Wingate:

So excited that the 1966 production of The Glass Menagerie will re-air on TCM Thursday - 50 years TO THE DAY of its original and only airing. Long thought lost to the ages, master sleuth Jani Klain of The Paley Center finally tracked down the original camera tapes and we were able to put it back together using an off-air audio recording from back in the day. Kudos to David Crosthwait and DC Video for their miraculous recovery of the images from these fragile materials. After I determined we had all the takes, additional work was done by Ariel Ticsay at Advanced Digital Services and John Blum helped get the audio back in shape. Lots of work but very proud of all the teamwork and excited the artistry of these performers, the technicians and the playwright will be seen again. Hopefully the classic TV channels will take notice - this is what you should be showing as well as sitcoms if you wanna be classic TV! Bravo, Jani!
