Mikey Kelvin (Brian Bonsall, Blank Check, "Family Ties") has been a bad boy, only nobody knows exactly how bad. Tragic and Deadly "accidents" seem to happen all around Mikey. So, from foster family to foster family and from school to school he goes, leaving a trail of unanswered questions. Of course, everyone knows Mikey is just a sweet, misunderstood little boy. But... remember... Jason and Freddy were once kids too!

This is probably a new 2k transfer I assume? I don't think it ever had an existing HD master, so the way the description mentions it is kinda interesting since MVD has listed to weather it's a new scan or not before.

Getting a bit of a bpd vibe from those photos. It wouldn't surprise me if he was abused growing up, either by his family or through employee(s) in Hollywood. These people generally grow up unable to resolve conflicts and can't control their emotions which may lead to rage and violence over the most trivial/mundane/unimportant disputes. The charges of assaulting his girlfriend are pretty congruent with the diagnosis. They also tend to have issues with identity into adulthood. Speaking as someone with a bpd spouse and I've observed a lot of the patterns over the years. Apparently guys tend to get diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder more than borderline compared to women, but it could probably be either. The character Mikey definitely has bpd/aspd tendencies, as did Junior from the Problem Child movies.

Not just that but his lifestyle and arrest records/actions. It'd be nice if all child stars could grow up normally like say Fred Savage.

Sounds more like a period of time where he was into drugs and alcohol(
rock n roll lifestyle), and is now sober and happily married.

Very careless and unsubstantiated to imply he was abused and has bpd based on that.

Hardly careless. His actions are what was careless - assaulting friends and loved ones. Drugs and alcohol are obviously no excuse for that. If Feldman can be trusted, his book was pretty revealing on the industry as far as child actors' welfare.

Probably a new 2k scan. Don't recall this ever having a widescreen presentation on dvd or any streaming service. I kept the old LD around for ages until it was announced through MVD. Lionsgate should probably do the same for the old Artisan catalog if it's still in their possession since so many of their old dvds were fullframe and looked like video masters.
