The Incredible Shrinking Woman WalMart Exc.

Here's a blast from the past! Anyone remember The Incredible Shrinking Woman with Lily Tomlin and Charles Grodin? Just noticed a couple of days ago that it appears to be yet another WalMart exclusive with Universal. It is in 1:85:1 anamorphic widescreen, so it should blow the Amazon MOD DVD out of the water (the Amazon is not re-mastered in any way). I think it's $7.87-ish.

My God, I remember seeing this one way back in '82 as one of the very first movies I got to see when I first got HBO. Ahhh, the good ol' days of cable and big dish satellite.....

I used to watch this and Cannonball Run over and over again on HBO, my parents sure got their money's worth in that respect.

I just looked on walmart.com and saw the dvd listed for $24.95 (there was also an instant video option on Walmart's site):

However, it must only be exclusive until July 4th because that is when it is being released on Amazon for only $9.99. It doesn't say "MOD" anywhere on the new Amazon release, so I am assuming it is an actual pressed dvd. If you can wait, I would pre-order it below for the much cheaper price (I did!):

I picked up my copy last night in Wal-Mart for $7.96

Anyone compared it to the MOD release? I've read Amazon reviews stating that release has a very mediocre transfer even by dvd standards. So I haven't picked up the new version yet.
