Hey guys,
Not sure if this is the correct sub-forum to post this in -- but I've run into an unusual issue over the last several days that I can't seem to rectify. In the two years I've owned my Xbox Series X, for whatever reason, it's stopped playing UHD titles on Netflix in UHD. It'll still play HDR content in HDR -- Dolby Vision even -- but will only play these titles in 1080p. When I played 4K/SDR content, like Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad, it is only streaming it in 1080p. When I stream Netflix internally through my TV, it will play these titles correctly. That's usually my preferred method of streaming Netflix content anyway. But I still enjoy using my Series X when it's convenient. As well as getting resolution and bitrate information when needed. I've already tried restarting the Xbox. Deleting the Netflix app and then reinstalling it. Checking for an app update. Etc, etc So I have no idea what's going on with it. |
