I think it's from the same company putting out The Changeling, so that should be a good indicator as to what we can expect. Who is this with in the US? Lionsgate? If so it could be a while before we see it elsewhere.

Yes, it's Lionsgate because it's owned by Studio Canal.

The specs listed on TC Entertainment website are English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1ch, Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2ch, and Japanese subtitles.

Nice, now all we need is the Abyss and all the late 80s underwater movies will be out! Hope it's proper widescreen, as I believe the DVD was not if I recall. Wonder if this means a US release too? If not, I'll pick up this one.

The UK DVD was proper16:9 and had a commentary as well (same with Stephen King's Silver Bullet). Would be nice if the latter was ported over but I wouldn't expect it.

Anyway I gave in and preordered with The Changeling.

I will just not sure if The Netherlands will hold this for weeks to tax me so might be a while. I order from Germany a lot and hey include the VAT.

Picked up this up with a few other discs. Really nice 1080p transfer (2.35 -- I believe this was a Super 35 film) with DTS MA 2.0 English audio. Trailer is the only extra. Definite buy for fans -- nice image!

I cant give you screen shots or bitrates but will tell if you are a fan of this movie then you should get it. Going from the DVD to this blu ray was like night and day.
