Tell Me How Come

my cousin got one of the 80 gigs for christmas....so i went over to his house..set it up and do all teh necessaries....................but how come i cant turn it on using the controller.....i weird cause it fine with my 60gigs.....is that suppose to happen witht he 80gigs..............IT WONT TURN ON WITH THE CONTROLLER.......

maybe you need to charge it first

perhaps you need to register it with the system

or press PS button? it did the same when i got my ps3 in july and i didnt know PS was a button

First turn on the PS3 with the controller plugged in. That will mate them. Then it should work with them not connected.

how to pair it...maybe i forgot because i have the 60gigs and all i can remember doing is charging it....then i i put it on ..........but hear this......................i can turn off his system with the controller thought....wtf......everything is good,,its charged,,,ps3 is in stand by..............does anyone here has the 80gigs tho,,,and can u turn it one with the controller........
