I find it amazing that no one can come close to these cartoons, even after all these years.

Once that nostalgia thread started, I knew something like this wouldn't be far behind!

I've got the typical 1980s kid staples for my favorites:

Transformers
GI Joe
He-man
Voltron
Inspector Gadget

...and then the classics that were always on reruns when I was watching cartoons:

The Jetsons
Bugs Bunny
Yogi Bear
Underdog

I seem to recall a cartoon named Mr. T, and I liked that. I still have the theme song in my head (and now it's going to stuck there at least all day). The friggin' beast would throw around alligators in the title theme/opening credits. I still think a Mr. T/Chuck Norris showdown would be epic.

Not exactly a cartoon, but Penny from Pee-Wee's Playhouse, California Raisins (catchy 1980s trendy thing), Max Headroom...then from my teen years we've got the timeless classic Beavis and Butthead.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Gumby yet, now that I got the clay animation ball rolling.

I adored the Animaniacs when I was younger. Ducktales and Darkwing Duck were also very good series. I watched Batman: The Animated Series too sometimes, but I didn't appreciate that until I was older. I also realize that I still have to buy some of these on dvd.
