Major defect on PS4?

My aunt has a PS4 Pro and she's a bit disappointed in how easy it is to accidentally format your hard drive. She told me the other day that she accidentally re-initalized her PS4 four times in one day and she had to spend hours just to re-install all her games back on and re-adjust all her settings again.

Is there any fix to this?

Im guessing through the system -> re-initialize menu. Isn't that the only way to reformat the system?

Yes it is, but you made it sound like there was another issue at hand because... how would she accidentally choose to reinitialize her PS4 over and over and over again?

I think in the case of James and Bethany Modisette, it's because they know they're not going to get much money out of the 22-year-old driver who is responsible, so they're ambulance chasing instead.
