Haven't seen this movie but the guy on the blu-ray cover looks like Charlie from It's Always Sunny:

They tried to "re-imagine" the story. I was curious and bought it but thumbs down.

If you have not seen the Charlton Heston Ben-Hur, do yourself a favor and watch it first, one of the greatest films ever made

I've watched this film many many many times and the ending still gives me chills...I will just say ladle of water.

Ouch.

This new reimagining or reboot did really benefit me in a way. Because of it I was able to get into the 1959 version for the first time and by now I've seen it twice. And yes all the way through counting Overture and Intermission.
