Default Panasonic PT-AE8000U issue with uniform blacks at edges

Hello All!
I just purchased and installed my new Panasonic PT-AE8000u, upgrading from a 4000u, I've had for about 7 years. BUT, after installing and running the Spears calibration disc I noticed that the blacks are not uniform and bloom at the top right and bottom left of the image. I'm thinking my best bet is to send this one back to ProjectorPeople.com and have them ship me out a new one. Has anyone else experienced this? See pics for issue. Thanks!
