I've thought that before during past years as well. I'm optimistic for 2024 though. There has been a bunch of new attention via articles and what not paid to physical media as of late and so I have hope that the titles will continue to flow in 2024. Honestly though, my spending and the quantity I buy is always more dependent on the sales I find vs the titles announced. If the sales are good that usually offsets any perceived lack of new announcements for me. Time will tell though.

Studios offering 4K combo packs (Lionsgate, Universal, Disney) will continue to get my money at full price. Others like WB and Paramount will be purchased at around $15 or less. I would have been fine with a slight price increase, but full price for half of what I used to get? Only oil companies could be that bold.
