AFAIK 2.0a is just in relation to the ports. Any 2.0 cable will work, and even a 1.4 cable will work fine as long as it's not a super long run.

as far as cables go HDMI is HDMI is HDMI. The only different "kinds" of HDMI cables are those that carry ethernet.

I went to the Monoprice Redmere 18gbps braided ones awhile back, mainly to save room in the cabinet. They are so much easier to deal with. Cost a little more than say Amazon Basics or MediaBridge, but a lot easier to bend.

Go to monoprice and get the ultra slim 18gbps. 6ft is 14.99. It is 4k@60hertz.

I got the cable from PrimeCables Canada. Its HDMI 2.0 cable 4K certificated.

1. Standard speed.

2. High Speed

3. High Speed with Ethernet

4. Automotive

An HDMI cable thats rated for 18Gbps of data is what you are looking for.

Unless you are using a very long run, than you may need to find an active cable or a repeater so the data can reach one end to the other reliably.

Folks may want to checkout the DPL Labs site here. Lots of cables can do 10.2G, many shorter ones can do 18G, not very many long ones can do 18G.
