A Dave McKean cover would be my choice. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Definitely a nice design, for an incredible show. Hopefully the white background sticks. Even a brushed metal finish wouldn't be too bad, but would certainly lose some of its luster.

Glenn Fabry, David Mack, Dave McKean and Bill Sienkiewicz has all made covers or variant covers for the first 4 issues of the comic. They can all be seen HERE.

I don't really care who gets to have one of their covers on the SteelBook (if they'll go with these!), I think they are all fantastic in some way!

I know, but you mentioned Dave yourself so I just wanted to mention David and Bill as well!

REALLY nice Fabry art there!!

I don't think I have anything by him (maybe a signature or small sketch in a book hidden away somewhere). Most of my Original Art is stuff by Colleen Doran with a couple of Joseph Linsner and a single (I think) Jason Yungbluth.
Don't have a Comic Art Fans account, maybe time to get one and take photos of all my OA

Whichever is correct, you normally end up getting stuff frim zavvi a day or 2 earlier than amazon

Germany is getting it july 20 so I would say zavvi is correct?

Australia is getting American Gods released on 17 July... But, no Steelbook.

Question: Appears to be 3-discs. Does that mean that the discs would be stacked in a Steelbook? I never had a Steelbook with more than 2 discs in it (unless Studio Canal is cramming the episodes on to 2 discs).

Normally, there will be one one the left & 2 on the right, not directly ontop of each other but slotted behind the other
