I don't know if this forum is ran by the same people who run AVS Forums, but it seems pretty chaotic to me. Two days ago I posted about a very real issue when it comes to HDR in UHD Blu-rays, that many of them are great and a few have this gold tint everywhere with the same settings. Two days later and my thread gets deleted and the messages thrown into this messianic thread called "4K Questions |OT| of questions that don't deserve their own threads". Really? It doesn't deserve its own thread?? Who do you think visits these forums? Chefs? Housewives? No, video and movie geeks do. So if there's a color grading issue that affects several movies, I would say it's clearly deserving of its own thread.
But no, just like AVS Forums and many others, you have to throw my thread into this giant 31 page thread that is akin to 200 people in a room talking at the same time about several different things. Do you think I'm going to waste my time scrolling through tons of posts about other things just to see if someone maybe read the messages related to my thread? No way. I'm just going to find a forum that actually has some respect for its subscribers. |
