Why no Spiderman 1 & 2 as Individual Titles?

I tried to find the answer in existing threads, and to no avail, and since MKelley still can't start a new thread (still in the probation period and can only start in New Members discussion area), I'm asking the question on his behalf. Here's the exerpt from his original PM to me:

Now I'd love someone to start a thread in BR releases about how I have to buy all 3 Spiderman movies -- is there no way to just buy S1 and S2? Because they already bundled S3 with my PS3 -- just doesn't make sense to me to have another copy of it.

If anyone can provide an intelligent answer, I know he's going to be watching, as I'm sure many other members will be as well...
