Default Anyone bought a TV from someone on Craigslist before?

Someone is selling a Sony 65" x930d for $1450. If she was was willing to go down to $1200 I just might bite. Her ad states it has less than 100 hours of usage time. I assume there's no real way to verify that is there?

It sounds like the warranty would transfer over if she could provide a receipt or invoice.

Any other input/things to look out for would be appreciated.

Absolutely not because, TVs doesn't have a time gage for usage.

I wouldn't pay $1,450.00 nor even $1,200.00 for a used TV. You can buy a brand new HDTV ( out the box) for that amount of money. Plus how do you really know the TV has less than 100 hours of usage time? It could have 500 hours of usage time or more, and you won't be able to tell the difference! If the TV has only 25 hours of usage time, it's still a used TV. Shop around because I'm quite sure you can get a good deal on a brand new HDTV for the money that you're willing to spend.
