CAPERNAUM, a new film by Nadine Labaki and winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, follows Zain, a gutsy streetwise child, as he flees his negligent parents. He survives on the streets through his wits while taking care of Ethiopian refugee Rahil and her baby son, Yonas. After being arrested and put in jail, Zain finally seeks justice against his parents in court for the “crime” of giving him life.

Hmm, I am interesting in picking this up but it already says "Currently unavailable, We don't know when this will be back in stock"~on Amazon. I'll keep it on my list and hope for the best though...

Is bullmoose actually burning BD-Rs of this? One of the sellers on Amazon is also listing as 'made on demand'

No, these are pressed discs. That is just boilerplate text that BM uses for all MOD releases. These are just considered MOD releases since they're replicated in same batches, but they're not burned discs.

Yo I just bought the US BD off Amazon. The FRA disc appears to be a full theatrical cut at 2h6min whereas the USA has had almost 4mins cut. Anyone know what its missing?

Did you get the run-time from the back of the cover or directly from the disc (sometimes the back-cover is unfortunately not that exact...)?

This was a difficult, but ultimately powerful film. Zain Al Rafeea, who plays the main character Zain (named after the actor himself), gives an outstanding performance in this, something even more incredible when you find out he's untrained as actor, and didn't know how to read or write during filming.

Price went down to $13.55 on Amazon so I just ordered it this morning. Looking forward to giving this a watch. The reviews were irritating me on Amazon though. People complaining about not having it on DVD...

Just to update, got the film in today and watched it tonight. Really enjoyed this one. It was gritty, it was painful, it was real. Well directed, well acted by the main actor Zain. Definitely recommend to anyone on the fence about picking it up

I really want to pick this one up, but before I decide on the US release I need to know if it is cut (the run-times in the database for the various releases vary quite a lot...). I have asked 2 persons for info on it but not gotten a reply so far.

Can I bother you, Bradsdadg, and ask if you have the exact run-time from the disc? Thank you in advance!

No problem. Just got home from an event now and popped the disc in. Back of the case says approx. 123 minutes and the actual run time is 2:03:01. Hope that is helpful. I see the price went back up on Amazon which is a shame though...

I'm still a little unsure whether it is cut... IMDb says 126 minutes (though they are mostly correct there have been wrong data on some movies and 3 minutes wrong is perfectly possible). I think one of the French releases is listed as 129 in the Blu-ray.com DB, so I guess anything is possible

The price will most likely drop again, I will keep an eye out for it.
