If you had only one choice, would you prefer that studios focus on releasing 4K or studios eliminating the DVD format in favor of only the 1080 blu-ray format?
Personally, I do not understand why studios are releasing movies in 4K when they have done a poor job of integrating 1080 blu-ray into the general market. DVDs still are outselling 1080 blus. Most retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, FYE, etc. stock far more DVDs. I would prefer that studios eliminate the DVD market and focus on 1080 blu-ray market. There are hundreds of titles that have not been made available on 1080 that should be. |
