Fantastic first episode.
Two questions; 1. Why is this on Netflix and Crunchyroll? 2. How did they get the English dub done so quickly? |

It's because GKids have the license and they're streaming it on both platforms.
They've also been able to dub it relatively quickly because quite a few episodes have been done for a while now. 360p watermarked workraws for Episodes 1-6 were leaked two months ago alongside a bunch of other titles - like the entire new Ranma 1/2 season - when Iyuno was compromised, an external company Netflix works with to dub/sub their titles. The first three or four episodes were also shown theatrically a few weeks back. Last edited by Mangaranga; 10-05-2024 at 03:02 PM. |

The English dub was actually commissioned by the Japanese side, similar to Mission: Yozakura Family and The First Slam Dunk.
When MBS announced the dub cast instead of anyone here, that pretty much gave it away. |

2. They've been doing simuldubs for anime for years now, I remember Funimation having something 2 days after Japan did before Covid, which then delayed it a week or so, but was still fairly quick turnaround (My Hero Academia, maybe?) |

I want to see these series sooo bad. I don't care for streaming services though. Hopefully it gets a BD release when it ends.

The Japanese Blu-ray is going to be from Aniplex, so expect mediocre picture quality that may likely be worse than streaming releases.
Wait for the US Blu-ray from GKIDS/Shout! Factory, or the Italian release if Dynit is doing it. |

They're already selling digital versions but I can't wait for the BD. The series has been a blast so far so I want to own a copy when it comes out. Last edited by Oniros; 11-29-2024 at 08:50 PM. |

Season 2 has been confirmed and will be airing starting in July 2025, with it streaming in the US on Crunchyroll and likely Hulu and Netflix too. Please note there may be spoilers in the article

Just watch it, why deprive yourself of the enjoyment? There wasn't much even close to being as enjoyable to watch as this was this season (or even this year).

Some people simply prefer watching stuff through discs.
