The Karate Kid 2 has been announced. But probably won't been released till next year some time. For thoes who are willing to wait for a complete set.

Where have you been mate , their upcoming individual releases have been posted multiple times in other threads in this sub-forum (and in the U.S. movie sub-forum) over the last 2 months .

Why do they have to mix the 2010 version in this set. It makes it incomplete when the new movie comes out, I'd rather have only 1-4 (or even 1-3 ) as a box set.

I just received a phone call from the JB store I preordered Part III and The Next Karate Kid with, informing me that unfortunately there is an issue. Apparently they have been rated incorrectly. Sony has told them not to sell them and to send all copies back.

I have just been in contact with Sony/Universal about it. They have already printed new cover art and have packaged them up, they will be shipping the corrected batches tomorrow. People in Sydney should be able to purchase them on Wednesday, and a day or two later for those in other states. I'm glad it was rectified quickly, though I was looking forward to watching Part III tonight.

I spoke to the DVD manager at my local after seeing your post. Yeah he made a mistake, he read the Email wrong. Part III is ok. It's The Next Karate Kid and 5 movie set that have the printing issues. Strange that the distributor didn't mention that, because part III was the one I told the customer service rep I was mainly enquiring about. As for the technical fault, I was told that's just what JB list them as when there is a recall, the distributor did confirmed that the issue was due to a printing error.
