Default Lifeforce (1985): Aus artwork for the 1985 RCA/Columbia VHS release?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where to find the art work for the original Aus 1985 VHS release of this? According to IMDb, it happened, but I haven’t been able to find anything online and never remember seeing this at the video store when I was a kid.

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0089489/companycredits/

Cheers for any help with this one.

I very vividly remember it. The artwork was plastered on the side of a rental place which then closed down, which meant it stayed there for many many years! It used this poster.

Very cool but what about the actual VHS? I would like to see the graphic layout and the censorship rating (surely it was R).

Many Cheers.

By the way does anyone know what was in charge of designing VHS design in Australia during the 1980’s? Whoever it was, they were a genius. There needs to be a documentary about Australian VHS designs of the 1980’s, it’s some of my all time favourite graphics and artwork.

@mfan: That 'LIFEFORCE' cover is badly faded. It is not supposed to look that color-less; it's a shame there isn't a better example of the LIFEFORCE sleeve with its 'color' properly intact.

(I reckon that auction would've gone a bit better for the seller if he had a cover that wasn't faded to Hell and back).

I've a nice WARNER HOME VIDEO Oz cover of BYE BYE BRAVERMAN (pictured in 4th Attachment). See what you think, mfan.

ALSO: Here are 3 snaps of my WARNER Oz release of MOON ZERO TWO, the 1969 British •MOON WESTERN•!

Not much colour in France too:

Australian covers always seem very worn.

It was the artwork for the UK quad, which was adapted and expanded upwards in a few other countries, as UK posters are landscape, with most others being portrait.
