Hmmmm...let the speculation begin. I bought all Saw I-VII because I thought they would release more films, rumors are circulating about an 8th film already. Either way, I don't need to buy this

Been waiting for this so I wouldn't buy Saws 1-6 (I bought Saw 7 just because I had never seen it yet and been interested and couldn't hurt) so I'm glad this is coming, but if an 8th is rumoured (which is a stupid idea in terms of continuing the series in my opinion), then I might not buy this.

Isn't their going to be an 8th film?
Anyways artwork looks rather boring, same cover as SAW III.

I think it's just temporary artwork. At least I hope it isn't the official cover.

Saw 3D was marked as the final chapter and supposed to be the final movie.

screen rant dot com had this

Actress Betsy Russell (Jigaw’s ex-wife Jill in the films) is the first one to acknowledge that Saw 8 could happen. She even manages to appear genuinely enthused about the idea, as you’ll note in the quote below:

“Before we thought it was ending [with Saw 3D], the writers came up with an unbelievable idea [for Saw 8]. It’s an amazing story that I would love to see… We want to end near the top, with our integrity in tact and not letting the characters die a slow death, so to speak. But I believe in my heart that someday, somehow, [Saw 8] will happen.”

anyway no point in ordering this until we know what cuts of the movies will be provided.
although most like the 7 standalone disks repackaged

Yer this is what I was hinting at. She said that right after VII came out. They should leave it there. Even I think it's too many now, and I love Saw. But their original plan was to make 2 trilogies and finish it off with a double film ending. So I reckon they still want to do that. The only reason they haven't
[Show spoiler]- yet -
is because Saw VI didn't perform too well at the box office apparently.

Hmmm, I've been waiting for a complete Saw collection for a while now. Might pick this up or wait and see if it drops in price/is cheaper anywhere else!

The 1-8 collection is very impressive, not only does it include Saw 3D (in place of the basis 2D version) but it has the new Saw 1 disc from the 4K release with the new transfer and extras!!

While Saw II has better audio : DTS MA 5.1 over the U.S release's Dolby EX and uses MPEG-4 AVC over the MPEG-2 (no idea about bitrate) it still lacks extras that have so far been exclusive to the DVD. I'm not certain it's the Unrated cut either...

Now all we need is Lionsgate to release a director's cut of Spiral, and along with an updated Saw II disc and new cover art (it looks like a bootleg, I don't like the font at the bottom either) it'd be the definitive collection
