I've watched the remastered Blu-ray many times, and have been waiting for the 4K.

Over recent years, I've realised that this is one of Pollack's best films.

John Barry's score is an all-timer.

Fan-fookin’-tastic! Way, way overdue on the format. Another absolute must-have for my 4k uhd library. The long-in-the-tooth, digitally-futzed blu ray leaves plenty of room for significant improvement, and this epic piece of cinema is chock-full of stellar visuals that should look stunning in uhd.

Universal’s doing great with their 4Ks these days. Glad they found their way back to putting out catalogue titles themselves instead of farming them off to Kino. This should look absolutely stunning.

I bought it in 4K on iTunes last winter and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I'd grab a 4K UHD in a heartbeat.

I’ve heard this film described as dull. Never seen it myself but plan to remedy that with this 4K. I tend to make my own decisions and not fall into groupthink when it comes to movies.

Never understood the hate for this film. This will be a definite addition to the UHD library.

Great. I know I knew absolutely nothing about what other people thought about this movie when I saw it. 100% natural dislike.

Pollack & Redford pictures are among my favorite director/actor offerings, but I hadn't seen this until recently. I picked up the Imprint Blu a couple months ago, as part of an order that I wanted to tip over into free-shipping territory, &, damn, was I surprised by how much I enjoyed this flick. If this 4K is done right, location footage & landscape photography alone will make it worth the price.

Haven't revisited it since the VHS days despite owning the DVD. Loved it as a budding cinephile, back when that sort of old-fashioned romantic epic wasn't frowned upon.
