Already preordered the 3D version. This movie looks so fun to me. I won't be able to make it to the theater to see it though, but I'm getting it on the first day.

Good movie. It has some flaws, especially final showdown is disappointing, but overall I enjoyed it and will add to my collection soon after release day.

I enjoyed this. Some beautiful scenery especially the pirate cove sequence.

Cant believe the Witch was Mako from Pacific Rim.

Will be blind buying this because it looks like it has some nice action sequences and visuals!

Easily one of the worst and most boring films of 2013.
Would not recommend a blind buy for anyone.
Very serious about that.
Its sunny the star of the film didnt even make the front cover though and the pirate guy with the gun made the cover.
That guy has under 1 minute of screen time while the star of the film, Hiroyuki Sanada, is nowhere to be seen.

I agree. I could care less about critics - most of my favorite movies have been critically slammed - but this movie was a chore to sit through, plain and simple. Also, Keanu is almost like a supporting character in it. Some people might like it, but I found it pretty terrible on all fronts.

Any idea when it will be released on Blu-ray? It's crazy how fast movie come and go from theaters. This one and Legend of Hercules cannot be found playing in 3D anywhere near me.

Enjoyable enough film to add to my collection. But, not enjoyable enough to add it on day 1. I won't be adding it to my collection until I can get it for under $15. Even then, it might fall to the wayside depending on my 'wishlist priorities' at that time.

I had no desire at first but then I really wanted to see it and now it's gone from theaters, I think I'll like it so I might blind buy.

It is pretty dull. For me the problem was that it wasn't particularly terrible and it wasn't good, it was just mediocre and bland. The director can't come up with any striking visuals even with huge sets, hundreds of extras and lots of FX, much of the film is shot in close-up like an old TV movie, the pacing is lethargic and the action unexciting. It just plods from plot point to plot point in its one-note, humorless way with nothing to distinguish it one way or the other, and by the halfway point you're already thinking about what you'll watch next or what you're going to have for dinner.
