Default Best streamer for Netflix and Vudu

I'm right now using my XBox One for Netflix and Vudu, but sometimes Vudu stops playing a movie with a loading screen and kicks out back to the XBox One Home's screen a few seconds later. Yesterday I experience one second of stuttering with Netflix on my XBox One. I'm using a wired ethernet connection and a 45 Mb/s downstream internet plan. I use to own a Roku Ultra but sometimes it would make chirping sounds (firmware issue from what I read) in Netflix and Vudu and sometimes Vudu would rebuffer a movie a few seconds after starting playing a movie on the Roku Ultra. I also tried a Sony BDP-S6700 blu-ray player but one time I got a wavy blurry image a few seconds after playing a movie in Vudu that lasted about 2 seconds. It looked like seeing a reflection from a lake as the best I can describe it. The Vudu app on my TV quits on me frequently and the Netflix app on my TV has a hard time getting 1080p during streaming and usually doesn't go over 720p. I also tried a Sony BDP-S3700 blu-ray player and it had a hard time getting a 1080p signal whereas the BDP-S6700 hit full bitrate 1080p in Netflix streaming wihin 50 seconds or so and felt more responsive. Apple TV does not have a Vudu app. FireTV does not have a Vudu app. Using Vudu and Netflix on my PC is too clunky and not remote compatible with those apps. Would a PS4 be a good option for Netflix and Vudu?
