Nowadays there are a lot of horror cult classic films that almost 100% of horror fans like. But there are some that despite being loved, they just don't make it for some of us. Feel free to mention horror films that are cult classics, but you didn't like them. Please explain why.

Child's Play comes to mind. Horror is known for being silly but this one was to much. Weird tho cause I like the Puppet Master films go figure. Another is The Exorcist, not denying its a well made film. Exorcist is cast well and is played out very good with a mood that fits it well. Just for me it went to far with its material.

Lately, I've come to the realization that a lot of the Italian films (especially gaillo ones) just aren't for me. Saw Suspiria for the first time recently--it's certainly vivid and visually lush, but it's not a movie I'd gush over or want to rewatch. Same for Tenebrae, Inferno, Bay of Blood, The Bloodstained Butterfly, Contamination, City of the Living Dead, and Cat in the Brain.
But I am okay with The Beyond, some of the cannibal movies, and The Editor. ![]() |

I did not care at all for Suspiria when I saw it for the first time a handful of years ago. Granted, it was on a HIDEOUS-looking non-anamorphic DVD, but I still found it pretty incoherent. Certainly stylish, but how about a plot?

Wow. A lot of hate for Suspiria here. I thought it was well made but to each their own. The original Dawn of the Dead does absolutely nothing for me however. Funny too cuz I love Night and Day.
