Parasite pre-orders look to be up at Amazon, HMV, Zavvi and Zoom. Release date set for 1st June.

Standard Blu:

Blu-Ray.com link

Steelbook:

Blu-Ray.com link

Amazon - Standard Release
Amazon - Steelbook

HMV - Standard Release
HMV - Steelbook

Zavvi - Standard Release
Zavvi - Steelbook

I'll update this post with more links and dates as they come in.

If anybody can submit this to blu-ray.com to show up in the database that'd be great, I don't know how to do that.

Yeah, I'm really liking that art. No UHD, unlike the French release, though.

Cheers, updated the original post to reflect the Zoom link.

I went with HMV and paired it with something else as apparently they split deliveries regardless of release date.

I didn't actually expect it, but it is still disappointing that there won't be a UHD release - anywhere in the world with English subtitles, by the look of things.

No problem

Yes they do if different release dates. Each sent separately for it's own date.

However if both available at same time they usually group them together into one package, although sometimes they split.

Should have added your HMV steelbook link appears dead for me.
This is the one I could get to work

Like someone else said, I'm also not a steelbook collector, but that art beats the std edition hands down (I always think, why do they show a Google Chrome icon on the lawn? ).
Wonder if AE will have any additional / alternate extras compared to the US release?

How odd, it worked when I tested them all. Oh well, fixed it now.

Had seen Universal may rethink in the US if it does well at the Oscars and sells loads on BD and DVD. We have seen them do this with Darkest Hour, where the UHD came almost 4 months after the BD, but in that case they could reuse the UHD they produced for UK and elsewhere.

Very nice steelbook. I think I'm in the minority who thought the film was very overrated though.

It’s honestly kinda nuts. I mean, if they aren’t going to release a 4K in English territory at least add English subs to one of the countries that to do get it. Yes, I know subs can be expensive but this is one of the most hyped up foreign films I’ve seen in a long long time.

I know exactly what you mean, loads of my mates are saying it's a 5/5 when I only think it's a 4.5/5!

It's a 3/5 for me.

Shame I don't like the film more as I'm seriously tempted by the steelbook.

Things don't always connect with everybody, which is fine. I've recommended it to some friends as something to see at the cinema but others I've told they should probably wait for streaming. Some I just wouldn't recommend it to at all.

It might be more rewarding with rewatches, certainly seems that way to me, so it might be worth getting the steel anyway. If you still don't connect with it you can always sell it on. I'm sure at £19.99 you could make the money back without scalping it once they've sold out, but obviously managing your personal budget is your own business and your own decision.

why is this release so late in the year? I'll be curious to read what the supplements and the audio will be; for the French UHD to be the only release (so far) to feature the theatrical Dolby Atmos mix seems really unfair.

Steelbook looks like it's for something like Catch Me If You Can.

It's not particularly late, it's coming out a fairly normal 4 months after cinema release.
