Minor annoyance with BD player - Blu-ray Forum

I have a PS3 it works great, it does every thing I want it to, except play the full DTS HD soundtrack (minor quibble) . I just can't stop some movies and have them start at the scene I stopped it at. I know just pause it, some times I forget to. When I forget I have to go through all of the copy right stuff again. Does this happen to any one else with a PS3 or just me. Otherwise I could not be happier.

My BDP-S300 does the same thing...hate it.

I think it's due to the discs that use the Java. On HD DVD, every time you stop a disc (or switch off the HDMI input, or go to the setup menu) it has to reload it which takes forever, so with my PS3 and BDP-S1 I don't care as much.
