It screams "Oh everybody look at me! I'm the anti Apple. I'm cool because I do things that are different from what most other people do. Take that society!"

It looks alright but there is no substitution for the real thing.

I think I'm the only one who still only uses his phone for calling and texting. That's all I need one for; not this newfangled internet I've heard so much about. Then again, that could just be an excuse, haha - I love my Razr. Survived being dropped in water, survived being dropped on asphalt 56,000 times, survived extreme heat, cold, etc...I don't know how. Maybe it evolved.

Really? At first I didn't like it but it's now one of my favorite parts about the iphone. I've had numerous phones in the past with qwerty keyboards and I can type much faster on the iphone.

It just takes time getting used to.

I do have big fingers and i don't have a problem. Like I said it takes time getting used to.

Toying around with it for a few seconds won't do that. You would have to own one or have had one for and extended period of time to understand what I’m saying.

Yes it is awesome to be able to text like a secret ninja while at work, although my crappy phone makes it way to obvious when I should actually be helping people.

Sony Ericsson is where it's at in regards to cell phones...

I would definitely buy this...my last phone was the 710a...still works like new...

edit: who is the carrier?

The iPhone has a qwerty keyboard.

I'm very attached to my iPhone. It readily hands my old Blackberry it's ass.

Just read that this thing uses Windows Mobile That would make it an immediate non-purchase for me.

It appears that it will be a GSM phone, like pretty much every other Sony Ericsson . . . so in the states it could be used for T-Mobile, AT&T/Cingular, and some of the other regional providers, as long as they're GSM. I know the Sony store by me sells their phones unlocked, so as long as you've got an active SIM card you're good to go. You'll probably have to go through your provider though to get some settings correct as far as data . . . being that it's 3G, it would be hobbled a bit on T-Mobile.

Only 3.2? Sony needs to get a 5mp with xenon flash in a smart phone (the k850i is not a smart phone).

Successor to the P-series is needed. The rumored G-series may fit the bill... I did the form factor, though. Hard keys FTW.
