Default Battle of the 65's: Samsung KS8500 or the Vizio P Series

So I've been down to these two for awhile now
the ks8500 usually goes on sale for 1999 which is the same as vizio. We're only talking 65 inch here because I don't want to go smaller. My room isn't that big but I just prefer a large size tv. I'm mostly using this to watch movies at night, especially 4K. Which if anyone has an opinion for the best UHD blu ray player I would love to know, if the samsung is significantly better than an xbox one s I'll go with that.
BUT anyway yeah I'm down to those two tvs. the KS8000 is good too but if I'm going with samsung I'd rather have the curved for aesthetic reasons. I want something that will give me a beautiful sharp image, a lot of color and depth. I have an e series vizio at the moment from 2014. Part of me regretted getting that but is it the brand or just me stupidly getting a lower end model. What worries me about the samsung is being edge lit because my old vizio has that, the weird shadows in the corners and blooming is something that I notice and bothers me. But with vizio I've heard the colors don't pop as much as sony or samsung. Do I go with a new brand I haven't had before that's more well known or the one that seems to be getting amazing reviews?
