Cool Omd

They have always did consistently good electronic music. Their music got a revival in recent years, because their early single "Electricity" became a number-one hit on the UK vinyl chart. They also had a chart topping album on the independent charts.

Vince Clarke from Erasure considers them a huge influence.

In the 80s, this English band had tremendous success with synth heavy songs like "Souvenir", "Enola Gay" and "If you Leave" from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.

When I was working in a charity shop in 2005, I found their best of VHS containing many of their music videos. But not the upbeat 90's ones, which are actually very decent, even though all but one of the original members remained during that period.

I was a big fan in the 80s. Saw them once in concert. Lot of catchy tunes, but I think my favorite is If You Leave.

Almost missed this thread. I listened to them in the 80's as a young kid. Your thread got me poking around on YouTube to see what they have been up to most currently. Very interesting.....going down a rabbit hole...
