No 3D in the US steelbooks either. I preordered a 3D steelbook copy from Zavvi.

I have the first 4 in their steelbook form. I placed my first order with Zavvi to get my 3D. Also went ahead and got Cars 3 to complete my steelbook versions of those with my 3D included. Plus I did the Despicable Me 3 steelbook too to make sure I got my 3D in one form or another for the release

Where did you get a steelbook for the 4th. I only have a Metalpak.

Yes, but the Zavvi 3D will say SALAZAR'S REVENGE. I guess there is no 3D release for DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES.

Zavvi shipping is £0.99 to North America. No import fees are charged on orders for home media products.

It's technically not a Metalpak either. It's a discontinued MetalBox, which is arguably better than a Steelbook and miles better than a Metalpak.

I wasn't keeping tabs on this because I figured it would be available in store. I looked a few days ago and it said online only. Someone needs to start keeping track of this to see if it's really changing or if there was some initial notice it was online only. GOTG 2 showed up as online only a few days before it was released and I'm certain there was no warning before that. Although a week or so later some did show up in stores. Same with Lion King. Not sure if those were returns or not, but they did have shelf tags for them. At least I was still able to order both of those online when they came back for a bit.

I was super pissed with Deadpool because I don't remember seeing any warning it was online only until the morning of. I went in store anyway because I was picking up one for myself and one for my brother in law for his birthday. Of course they had none, and by that time they were sold out online.

They really need to have better advertising if this continues. I would even suggest some kind of steelbook club or membership but I doubt Best Buy would even do that, and they'd still find some way to screw it up. "One per member! Oh you got a spine slash/ dented case/ lost in the mail? Here's a $5 reward code!"
