Need a new receiver

Hello,
My Yamaha HTR6060 7.1, 2 zones receiver died a month ago and I'll need to replace it soon, I'm working far from home for long periods of time and we'll get back for a little less than 2 weeks in about 1 month. I wish I could order it before I get back so it would be one less problem to fix in my little vacation.

I'm looking for a new receiver that will do at least 7.2 (9.2, 11.2 or more would be even better) have at least 2 zones (3 or 4 would be awesome) have a lot of power, is apple friendly (airplay TM) and have onscreen volume display. I would love to spend not much more than 1k. (USD, or less) I don't need a dolby atmos system but I'm planning to pimp my cinema room in a year or less so I shoud probably seriously consider it.

I l'm open to any suggestions (even if it's either very cheap or a little over my 1k budget) and will probably have to buy online since up here in Canada we're very limited in choices.
