Default Need new receiver need suggestions

I just bought an LG 55eg9100 OLED and would like to upgrade my Pioneer Elite receiver so i can pass through 3d etc and only have one hdmi cable going from the tv. I only use a 3.1 speaker set up. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be a good receiver to purchase, nothing to crazy price wise lol.

If your just doing 3.1, any cheepy-deepy 5.1 receiver will do. You just need to consider how many HDMI inputs you need and if you want an auto-tuning program like Audyssay. Though, with just a 3.1, auto-tuning is probably unnecessary.

Most if not all receiver made these days are 4K compliant, so I would assume 3D would also pass through. Might want to verify this.

I would suggest Denon. But really, go with what ever brand you like.
