Default It's been a long time...

Not sure where to post my question but next month we are going to the cinema (or movie theater as we call it here in the US). Havent been at the movies since Feb 2014! I am curious to see how it will all sound compared to my home theater.
What's the best mlp in a theater room to hear the best sound? I know it must be in the middle of the room but at what distance from the front and back of the room?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks. Going to see Wonderwoman with the family in June, and after over 2 years I am excited to see whether I will be more disappointed in the theater audio/video experience or in my own home theater

Every movie since Feb. 2014, yes. Been having fun with my Atmos/3D/4K home movie theater
Wife really wants to go see Wonderwoman in Imax 3D and I myself am curious to see whether this will be disappointing or if the experience will make me feel disappointed about my home theater instead

Center of the house isn't the best seat. That puts you in the spot with the most reflected sound. 1/3 of the way from front is best.

Even when taking into consideration Dolby Atmos sound?
