Default Vizio Smartcast Questions

Hello. I have a Vizio E70-E3 70" tv and just got a software update last night. The tv now got the HDR feature that I can see on the Smartcast App. However, it is showing the HDR is not on. Is there a way to turn the HDR feature on?

I even turn on my PS4 and it is still not showing the HDR On with the Vizio tv. My PS4 is not a PS4 Pro, just a regular PS4. But I thought all PS4 generations do have HDR feature.

Thanks for any advice!

The original PS4 does support HDR. Did you go into the display settings on it and make sure that HDR was set to Automatic?

Also on the Vizio open the VIZIO SmartCast remote control app, tap “Settings” and press “Inputs” then "HDMI Color Subsampling” and then enable subsampling for the HDMI port.

Lastly, which game are you trying to play and are you sure it has HDR?
