AMC FearFest 2017 (will only be for a week this year)

The good news? AMC FearFest is back this year. The bad? It’s shorter than ever.

FearFest is only going to be a week long this year, running from October 23 through October 31.

Why is FearFest 2017 only running for a week, as opposed to the usual two weeks? Well, that’d be because AMC is devoting the prior week (October 16 through October 22) to airing the first 99 episodes of “The Walking Dead.” The marathon will serve to countdown to Season 8’s premiere, the show’s landmark 100th episode.
