Talking Did you get any Blu-ray movies or players for Christmas? OFFICIAL THREAD

Ok, so who received a PS3, or blu-ray player or BD movies?

I was given Spider-man 3 on DVD. So now I have the entire DVD collection to go with my BD trilogy.

But I did receive Planet of the Apes on blu-ray. So now, I need to find time to watch that. Bought myself Blade Runner.

Oh, but here is the best part... I have given a 100% cotton pair of Polo Ralph Lauren sleep wear! Blue, naturally.

Got the Queen Rocks Montreal Blu Ray.

My mom tried to buy me the Song Remains the Same and failed but I managed to buy myself a copy and ... I know she was trying to get me one so I kind of consider it like a gift anyway.

Posted in another thread, but oh well its Christmas and I get like a little kid again!
My son's got me POTC AWE and the Simpsons, my son got from Santa the Transformers game for the PS3 and Mater National from his uncle! He's a HD spoiled brat like me! My youngest is only 7 months so he is having more fun with the shiny paper!

Not a single blu ray for me but at least with good reason: My wife told me I buy them so fast that she didn't want to risk getting me a duplicate.

My daughter gave me the Blu-Ray Harry Potter collection (amazingly enough for her -- she's very religious and at one point would not let my grandkids watch them due to the "magic" aspect).

But I must have raised her right -- was a total surprise to me and more money than she should have spent on grandpa (she has five kids and I know they have a lot of expenses but she's a treasure of a mom and a daughter).

So I got my PS3 about a week ago... and have 33 blu-ray movies so far. Not a bad collection for 7 or 8 days. There's about five or six more I want but I'm going to wait until after Jan. 1 so the sales will be for *next* quarter :>)

I got my wife Mr and Mrs Smith and layer cake on blu for christmas. I don't really care for Brad or Angelina so I've never seen the movie, but my wife loves it. Of course we both liked layer cake. So, what I'm saying is one of the movies is for her the other one, not so much.
I got Blade Runner and WOW, what A great movie and a great transfer.
