Default New Redbox Deal With Warner Shortens Rental Delay to One Week

Those that rent Blu-ray discs at REDBOX will no longer need to wait 28 days after a Warner title is released at retail stores, instead one will now only need to wait 7 days from release date. I wonder if the Netflix Blu-ray rental program by mail will try and make the same agreement with Warner Bros.

Redbox is greatly expanding and will have more then 41,500 kiosks by the end of the year.

Quote

“Privately held Redbox recently announced national expansion plans that will add 1,500 kiosks this year, with more planned for 2018. By the end of the year, Redbox will have more than 41,500 kiosks nationwide, a total larger than the number of Starbucks and McDonald’s locations in the U.S. combined, according to the vendor."
