It's one I've kind of been waiting on. Any news?

In think that Steelmaker was asking if "The Polar Express" was getting a " Real D" 3D release instead of a anaglyph glasses release.

Uh, believe that was the Blu3D cover, not the DVD?
The one that came out right after Alice, back when nobody was noticing Blu3D to begin with?

(Or was it anaglyph on Blu? Haven't rented it.)

I thought Polar Express got issued originally with anaglyph, but got re-issued with the "new" "real" 3D long ago, right when the first "real" 3D bds first started coming out.
the release had a lenticular sleeve of the cover shown in the link above.
original anaglyph is OOP--

real 3D release-- http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Express-...+polar+express
here is the bd.com review of the "real" 3D version--he refers to the "original" anaglyph release.
this was one of the first real3D bds and probably could be a lot better if issued now.

Yeah, there's already a "real" 3D Blu-ray.

It's just that the transfer is kinda old, so it doesn't "pop" the way more recent movies do.

I don't love the movie, but it looks great.

Just look for the BD3D one.
