Default How to train your dragon: Special Dragon edition?

I'm just really curious about this one.

I cannot find anything about it anywhere online, not even on the Walmart website.

I went in today to look at movies and it was just there in a gorgeous new slip cover, only 19.96 and it came with the Blu ray, Dvd with Special features and four different movies on the dragons including the live stage show and a documentary on dragons and such.

Anyone else seen this or know about it?

This is what it looks like!

If I was a gambling man, Id say its the same release with the fire breathing dragons tacked on. More than likely to tie in with the TV series. I dont gamble though so...

Just like the Harry Potter double feature sets.

I'll have to add that to the slipcover list.

Seen it at wal-mart. Appears to be an exclusive. I bought it too. Probably a promotion for the series the dragons riders of berk on cartoon network.

I honestly think it's a great set with all the new stuff it comes with. The pretty slip cover, everything about it is perfect...just surprised that it isn't advertised anywhere

It looks like the BD disc is an entirely new version with extras that are different from the first release.

Do the original bonuses still cary over or have they been replaced?

I don't know. Since it looked like they encoded the new extras on the movie BD and since the back cover art makes it look like the old extras are only on the DVD, I put the movie back on the shelf. I've seen commercials for the live action show, so I don't need this new edition.

Legend of the BoneKnapper Dragon was already on the first BD release, and Book of Dragons was already available with Gift of the Night Fury.

Good call. Only the commentary remains. If you want extras, stick with the original Blu.

Hm, is the world tour the same as the one on Madagascar 3, if so the only reason to pick this up (other than packaging) is for the dragon documentary, hopefully they make a blu for the show because I had no idea it premiered until I saw a commercial

Yeah, other Blus and DVDs have a commercial for the live show tour.

Plus, there're video clips at the official website:

This comes CLOSE to what I expected later, including almost all the Dragon features so far. So other than Gift of the Night Fury missing, what else would I be missing?

I've bought the single-disc Blu-Ray of this movie so would this edition be a major step up or would I still be missing some features from the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack?

I swear the slip cover is 10x more timeless than the ones before it.

I can live with some missing extras to get a slip that's not pasted with YELLOW
