I can not believe there hasn't been any mention of this anywhere on here.

Cinespectral Films (Germany) is doing a new 4K scan and releasing a 3 disc limited edition set of the 80's cult classic "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark."

This was supposed to be released December 1 but got delayed. Pre-orders are supposed to go up this week and will be announced via their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cinespectralfilms/?fref=ts

Per that page, they have confirmed it to be region free with all new interviews/documentary. They also confirmed that the old VHS "making of" documentary (it's on youtube) will be included in a remastered, hi-def state. Many more extras will be announced along with those.

I can't find where it's confirmed to be region free. In the wishlist thread it's stated that it will be "English friendly" but I don't think I've seen it stated that it will be region free.

Either way, been looking forward to it.

There's supposedly a release coming in January from a German label called "Cinespectral Films" which is "English friendly". You can look for the thread in the Wishlist Section of all places, but the insider guy on there has been stringing everyone along for months talking about imminent release announcements, etc. but won't even throw anyone a bone of a cover art scan or anything.

i follow them over on facebook and they keep giving us "just the tip" (various screen grabs, bts pictures of the recording of the commentary track by cassandra peterson , john paragon & edie mcclurg, a hd trailer , etc ) and they said the same thing about the preorder coming soon for the 3 disc set in 3 different artworks
