Well GotAnime is $18 a year and you save $14 just for this release. Almost pays for itself.

"Just" for this, no. This, plus other future purchases, yes. If you only buy this from RS, you end up paying $4 extra. But if you plan on buying other things, it's definitely worth it.

Memberships last for 12 months, so make the majority of your anime and manga purchases from RS within a year and you'll see the savings add up to be quite a bit.

GotAnime? use to be $12 a year then they upped it to $18 a year. So whether or not it's worth it has changed. It depends on how much you plan to buy. If the number of savings doesn't equal paying off that initial $18 then it's not worth it.
