Default Nvidia Shield one of the best devices for Netflix streaming?

I recently returned an Apple TV 4 because of a few Netflix issues I was having with it and Netflix is what I use most of the time for streaming. My Xbox One's Netflix app I prefer but my Xbox One just takes too long to boot up. Roku 3 which I own is out of the question because I need a device that does RGB (0-255) because my monitor is designed for that colorspace. Also I might buy a 4k 40-42 inch TV by the end of the year so 4k support and 24 Hz support for Netflix is important for me. How's the Nvidia Shield for Netflix? Does it output 24 Hz for movies in Netflix filmed at 24 Hz? Does it instantly go to the highest quality image after loading a movie in Netflix or does it take several seconds to get to the highest quality image? Is Netflix stable on the Nvidia Shield?
