Default Best quality bottle container that keeps liquids COLD?

I'm going to be outside a lot this summer and I need something that I can bring my veggie/fruit smoothies in and be assured that it will stay cold for at least a few hours at a time. I know I can find something like this at Walmart or Amazon or wherever, but I want the best.

Unless it costs a ridiculously amount of money and I have to return to the streets as a male prostitute to pay for it.

...those days are over for me.

This will not be water that I'm trying to keep cold.

It will be a fruit and vegetable concoction, liquefied with a coconut milk base.

So I don't know if a regular water bottle designed to keep water cold will work.

Maybe it will.

I don't know.

...the story of my life.

Also I would appreciate not receiving any PMs containing craigslist-style offers of illicit sexual rendezvous at truck stop meeting points.

As I already stated, I'm not about that life anymore.

...and it's really not funny to joke about.

I've got several of these Contigo mugs and they do a great job of keeping my coffee hot. I've never used them for cold liquids but they say they'll keep a liquid cold for 12 hours.

https://www.amazon.com/Contigo-AUTOS...igo+coffee+mug

Yeti also makes very good tumblers. They're pricey, but they do a very good job at keeping liquids cold. Last summer I left a beer outside in the Yeti linked below in the morning and forgot about it, and several hours later it was still cold despite temperatures in the 80s. If you go with Yeti make sure it's authentic because there's a lot of sites (including Amazon based on the reviews) selling knock-offs that don't work as well.

i use a hydro flask.

it keeps my drink cold all day long. and it doesn't matter if it's "designed for water" or not; they're designed to just keep cold things cold and hot things hot. yes, most people use them for water, but i've used for things other than water and it still works very well.

this is one i have:

Any of the Yeti type coolers will do. The one from walmart for 9.99 for 32 oz. For a test I added 2 frosty's from Wendys and they were still good and cold after 16 hours..

A lot of great ideas, so far.

I use this Thermos one:

IMG_3634.jpg

Works excellent for hot & cold food or drinks.

Edit: Ray, I'm thinking about venturing into the truck stop lover business. Just for a while, for the experience that I can use to make a great screenplay of my life as I go through hard times (literally).
PM me if you have any nuggets of wisdom that I can use to elevate my descent into self-loathing and useful humiliation. I'll thank you in the paperback edition when it becomes available.

I second this. I have two of them, plus a Walmart knock off one, keeps stuff cold for almost a day.

I got a YETI 36 oz Rambler with the screw on lid. I wanted something to keep liquids ice cold ALL DAY IN A HOT CAR (because of work). I fill it the night before with ice and water -I assume any liquid will work-and grab it in the morning and go. I still have ice cold water and lots if ice after being in my car all day in temps well over 100 degrees after 18 hours.

This the one I have:

I was hoping I could find something like this for about $20.

...but $30 seems to be the floor on this kind of thing.

yetis are the biggest rip off... you can find the same quality items without the markup for the "yeti name" for much less. Most of those type items are made by the SAME Chinese companies anyway. I bought one of the walmart brand tumblers and it works perfectly... but if you are just looking to have a bad ass sticker to put on the back of your car and about $30 more spent, then a YETI is perfect for you

You could turn a small freezer into a backpack if you add straps. To power it you would attach a belt to a car battery and wear that in front. Easiest solution.

I bought my wife a yeti last summer, she filled it w/ice and water in the morning, we took the kids shopping for clothes for school, she left it in the car in 85 degree weather.....she still had full ice cubes 3 hours later.

I have the yeti knock-off form walmart...Ozark Trail is their brand.....I usually keep water and ice in it on my desk at work when I leave everyday @ 2:30......it still has ice in it the next morning @ 6.

$30 for yeti
$10 for Ozark trail

same size for each one.

I use this to keep my water cold.

It fits ice too if you want to keep it super cold. It's insulated, so it really keeps your drink cold without sweating. The inside isn't the biggest, but the perfect amount to bring to the gym. I've had water in it before I've gone to bed, only to find it as cold as when it came from my water cooler the night before.

They're a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion.

Fair enough..............but are you still interested in receiving pseudo-pornographic poultry photos though?
