Default 3D Screen

I'm sure this topic has been covered before (and for that I truly apologize)

I'm looking at moving to an Epson 3d projector. Will a regular projection screen work or is there a specific type of screen I need to watch 3d blu rays.

Thanks sincerely for any and all help.

Any screen will work really. Depending on your situation lighting wise some would recommend a higher/lower Gain screen for your needs.

The movie theatres use a silver fleck screen for the 3D shows because they do need that extra bit of lumens for the 3D presentation with a much bigger screen to cover. When i was a projectionists we were given instructions with every Disney 3D film to be tested before it went public. So that meant sound, proper screen ratio and lumens output which was a goal of only 4-6 total lumens. I know my Sony 40ES in my small setup kicks that output to the curb on my 106" which i have had for 5 years when i got my first projector an Epson 8350 (non 3D)
