And if GoldenEye was released on Blu-Ray, it would be my absolute favorite. Because that is THE BEST James Bond movie out there in my opinion with Pierce Bronson. You took the words RIGHT OUT OF MAY MOUTH .. GoldenEye will always be my favorite James Bond movie! |

![]() Same here for Moonraker. ![]() It is the only Bond Blu-ray that I own right now. Though once some of the other prices start to drop, I will start replacing my Bond DVDs. . Last edited by Duffy12; 06-05-2010 at 04:16 AM. |

Nice, I'm sure we aren't alone, many people love it the most!
Goldeneye is actually the only movie that I ever played the game for before seeing the movie for the first time! I bought the game without even knowing anything bout it!!! Quote:

Yeah the game was amazing. I remember forcing my parents to buy me the video game after the movie came out. I saw the movie opening night in Market Fair theater in New Jerey rt. 1, November 17th the day which it was released in 1995.
I now have the VHS of it and the DVD. Now I am waiting for the Blu Ray! |

I will always hold the top spots for Goldfinger, The Living Daylights, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and From Russia With Love. |

I only got FRWL, CR & QOS, might get TB soon but I have all the U.E's and quite frankly some like YOLT, DAF, MR, VTAK certainly don't merit the upgrade I was pained watching these recently I'm a Bond fan since 1977 but as I've grown older some of the entries are just painful to watch.
Goldfinger is grossly overrated I might get Dr No soon but it is OHMSS that I'm most bothered with now and TLD & LTK after that maybe LALD and of course SWLM as it was my first Bond film full stop and that was on the big screen when I was 5 years old. I was most impressed with the way FRWL looked (Easily Connery's best) and CR and QOS look superb, watching that opening PTS on Quantum was the 1st time I really could follow it and despite my feelings on the film as a whole I think it's one of the series finest PTS's now. I think me and Bond are just not as tight as we used to be, I'm sorry to say I can't watch some of those earlier entries with rose tinted specs and let them get away with their crimes because of nostalgia, I mean Diamonds as got a killer Barry score but the film is just plain embarrassing now. Have no time for the video game era of Brosnan, Loved Royale and my joint fav with Majesty's and QOS was better than a good percentage of the series despite being a considerable drop on CR. |
