This looks interesting BUT it also seems to suffer from the same typical, forced comical tone that Hollywood keeps insisting on. This is what I think is wrong with movies these days. It's not sequels, prequels, remakes, reboots or excessive CGI. No, it's the fact damn near every movie has to have some sort of comedy thrown in. Why does it have to be this way, why can't some movies be more serious???
Now I was really looking forward to this movie when I saw this: Doesn't seem like a fun time on Earth judging from what the teaser is showing. It all looks menacing and frightning to me. Then I saw the trailer: My first thought was "oh no, here we go again". Now I know it's just a trailer but I think it's fair to say this movie will have its fair share of "jokes", therefore I'm already disappointed with it before even seeing the damn film. I just saw the new trailers for Thor Ragnarok and Justice League, same feeling there. I really wish they would stop with the wisecracking jokes, I'm getting real tired of that. ![]() I'm forever grateful to whoever made sure the Evil Dead remake wasn't handled this way... Sorry for the rant, just had to get this off my chest (again, LOL). |
