Somebody forgot to tell David Bishop from Sony that Angels & Demons has been pushed into 2009 for theatrical release due to the writer's strike. Thus, it's going to be quite the trick to have it on Blu-Ray before it hits theaters (unless he meant DaVinci Code, though that was rumored to have been postponed to co-incide with the theatrical release of Angels & Demons).

Warner seriously needs to pick a side and stick to it. Of course we all hope it's Blu preferably, but this is just getting annoying.

YES!! its very frustrating, especially knowing that movies like 'I Am Legend' is going to be the same as watching a HD DVD!!! ERRRR!!! i hope they make one before the new releases come out dammit.

I doubt WB will pick a side at CES, but afterwards they are more likely.
They alone can end the war this year. They alone can make or break HDM. I hope they do the right thing here and go with the format with the better ratings, the most awards, the most sales, the most players, the most titles, the most support, the most storage, the most bandwidth.... Blu-ray.

I think the titles shown so far for Blu are pretty good. Especially Dark Night, I am Legend, and The Da Vinci Code. With more titles to be announced next week we have a lot to look forward to.

Agreed and announcing films for both sides throughout 08 is not helping.

Some nice titles there, dont forget the Hitman will be hitting Blu exclusively.

On a side note, you should check out the forum set up for CES over on hidefdigest.com, it is filled with hd-dud fanboys its sick. All they can talk about is how WB is jumping to red because of better sales and how great hd-dud is doing. I wish i had an account over there so i could virtually slap them all across the face for being stupid idiots.
